Trainings & Technical Assistance

OVWA offers trainings, in-person and via webinar. Quarterly trainings are held in-person at the Columbus Police Academy while webinars are offered throughout the year. OVWA partners with advocates and their agencies around the state to bring you quality trainings from the experts themselves. Click here to view our Events Calendar for upcoming trainings from OVWA and our partners.

OVWA also offers technical assistance to all types of advocates and their organizations. Technical assistance can be provided over the telephone, via email, or in-person. Our technical assistance is provided by OVWA staff, its members, state coalitions, and experts in the field.
