Brown County Marsy's Law Victims' Rights Training
by Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center

Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center, in partnership with Asian Services in Action, is pleased to offer this in depth victims' rights training. This training will cover victims' rights in every stage of the criminal justice process, including the hospital, investigation, prosecution, and post-conviction. This training will focus on the new rights for victims created by the Marsy's Law constitutional amendment in 2018, as well as any case law or implementing legislation related to Marsy's Law. In addition, this training will cover basic need-to-know information for victims about other legal topics, such as Title IX, protection orders, and a special focus on immigration issues facing crime victims.

This training is approved for 3.5 CLE hours (2.5 professional conduct and 1 general) and 3.75 ethics CEU hours for counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists.
