NOVA NCVRW Brown Bag Webinar - Victim Rights: Ensuring a Voice
In observation of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, NOVA is offering 3 FREE Brown Bag Webinars, on April 20th, April 22nd and April 23rd.
Presented by: Kate Manning
Victims are an essential part of criminal proceedings. To ensure that they can participate fully in the criminal justice process, every jurisdiction in the country gives victims rights in criminal cases. This session, taught by the Justice Department’s former senior attorney advisor on victim rights, discusses what rights victims have, how rights are enforced, and to whom they apply, as well as steps we can take to ensure victims receive their rights—and their voice—in court proceedings.
