Cybersafety and Social Media Ethics for Victims/Survivors, Advocates, and Allied Professionals
Please join OVWA's Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator, Wendy Ricks-Hoff, and Bill Wagg, from thinkCSC, for a training based upon OVWA's guides, Cybersafety for Victims of Crime
and its companion guide, Cybersafety for Advocates and Allied Professionals
Attendees will gain an understanding of internet functionality and social media platforms; how to assess threats that could pose problems for both victims of crime, advocates, and within agencies; ethical considerations for the use of technology and social media; and tips to protect data confidentiality.
All 2021 trainings will be held virtually through Zoom until further notice.
