Domestic violence program directors are invited to attend a two-part training on enhancing their skills as a supervisor. In this training for directors, a panel of experienced program leaders will share supervision strategies covering incentives, handling difficult conversations, supervision meetings, evaluation, and progressive discipline. Directors will also be provided with templates for supervision meetings, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Ideas will be shared on providing staff incentives with tight budgets and be provided with low-cost ideas to boost staff morale and increase staff engagement and staff care. This training is part of ODVN’s Director’s Academy and is only open to those in director positions at domestic violence member programs.

CEUs: To receive 5.5 CEUs or a certificate of attendance, you will need to attend both days and to complete evalution forms for each day. If you are a licensed counselor or social worker in Ohio, please provide your complete license number at the time of registration. Evaluations and Certificate Request forms must be completed within 24 hours after the training to receive CEU's.
